a brief history of TYA Singapore

Takiguchi and Yoshimi Associates (now simply known as TYA) was founded in Tokyo in 1982. Originally offering English copywriting services to Japan-based businesses attempting to communicate with an international audience, this small handful of Japanese and American expatriates was bound together by founder Masakazu Yoshimi’s simple vision: transform passion, understanding and expertise into Strategic Creative, advertising work that really works.
As TYA grew in Tokyo so did its network outside of Japan, with the first overseas office opened in Singapore in 1995. Today, TYA has offices in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and Jakarta – employing 74 professionals of nine nationalities – with projects spanning across the entire Asia Pacific region.
